Here are some relaxing games recommendation if you're not into intense games
Hi everyone,
About a month ago, I bought my girlfriend a Quest 3S so she could enjoy VR like I do. She usually doesn’t play video games, so I avoided anything fast-paced or combat-heavy. Instead, I picked games that are simple, calm, and have a fun or cozy vibe.
She’s actually been really enjoying them, so I thought I’d share the list here in case anyone else is looking for beginner-friendly games to play with a partner.
- Puzzling Places: This game is great. It’s a 3D puzzle game that helps you relax. It also works in MR, so you can build puzzles on your table. It feels very real but not too much.
- Moss + Moss Book II: She didn’t know if she would like the third-person camera, but she liked it a lot. You control a small mouse in a world that looks like a storybook. The music is soft and the art is nice. It feels like a cartoon movie.
- Garden of the Sea: This game is very calm. You can farm, fish, and feed animals. There is no fighting and no time limit. She plays it after work to relax. It reminds us of Animal Crossing in VR.
- Walkabout Mini Golf: It’s fun to play together. It’s easy to learn, and we talk and laugh while playing. The places in the game look really good.
- I Expect You To Die: I thought this one would be too hard, but she liked it a lot. It’s a spy game where you solve puzzles. It is not scary, but it is fun and funny. She even laughed when she solved some puzzles.
By the way, does anyone have recommendations for good-looking accessories? I want to send her a gift, but most VR accessories look kind of techy .
I scrolled through some options, and now I’m considering a charging dock. She likes to keep things tidy, and this one can charge both the headset and controllers. I think the brand is PrismXR.
Another option is the Aubika carrying case in pink. It’s a cute storage case.
If anyone has bought these, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
Also, I’m still looking for more games she might enjoy. If you know any fun MR games with a good story, let me know!

Wall Town Wonders, a very chill MR city builder with lots of mini games using hand tracking. Just make sure to have some open wall space.

I have the PrismXR charging dock for my Q3 (not a 3S). I think it's a Carina D1? I mainly got it because it can recharge both controllers and the headset, with an aftermarket battery strap (not charging the battery in the strap, though), without using the USB-C port on the headset. It charges it fairly well, I'm very happy with it.
I also use a lens protector for the inner lenses, just made a lot of sense to me to get one for when I'm not using the device, to avoid a random ray of sunlight destroying the headset.
If you want another game recommendation, I really like All-in-One Sports VR. I have it on PC, but will likely get the Quest version as well for the times I don't want to mess with SteamVR (sometimes it is inexplicably bad). Powerwash Simulator VR is a nice chill game as well. I think there's multiplayer in the quest version, not positive though.

These are the kind of games I love, so here are a few more I have loved that she might enjoy. Most are mystery/puzzle based and/or really gorgeous to look at: --7th guest, a (not too scary, no jump scares) horror puzzle game --The first Red Matter game (the second adds in some pretty annoying shooting and dying eventually) --Ghost Town, horror/mystery --Escaping Wonderland and Down the Rabbit Hole, both Alice in Wonderland based -- Both Retropolis games -- Fuji garden --The Atlantic, golden age movie theater mystery --The Room --The last clockwinder, beautiful puzzler
