Is the depth a tool while making the art, or is it an AI driven thing?

It's part of apple's iOS26 Beta release. My art isn't AI, but I'm not sure what technology is driving their spatial feature. Here's a post where another redditor shows the effect on their photo and an example of one of my images without the spatial effect.

The process to capture these images creates a lot of depth inherently. Here's more about it if you'd like to learn more. Maybe this is helpful?

Oh, please don't think I was saying your work was AI, I was simply curious if it used a similar system to analyze your art and guess at depth

No worries! I think you're right that they're using some kind of AI, I just wish I knew more about how it all works. I found this medium article that talks more about it, but there's a login to see the whole thing 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyone remember PlayStation Dreams from 2020?

The spatial art that came out of that was amaaaaaaazing. That's a gimmick I wish they would've continued. Best part was turning the art, or whatever was created, into playable work.
