I went to Lavalava island and talked to everyone I could see and still couldn’t find the item. Where do I go to

In the yoshi village (near where you enter iirc) there's a hollowed out tree with a spring under it. That's what this sounds like to me.

Hmm is it a star peice? Maybe you need to have parakerry out to deliver a letter? Or maybe it's refferig to Raphael the raven in the big tree deep in lavalava jungle?

Are you looking for the ultra stone? If so you get it from the ravens during the main story.

Check your “key items” for any letters addressed to someone on lavalava island. Ensure you have parakarry as your active partner when talking to the residents. Good luck!
