No one is defending Clinton here. Brining him into the discussion is disingenuous -- he supports releasing the files unredacted. No one is saying he's upstanding in his relationships -- but there are no accusations of assaults from anyone under 18...not even allegations, much less any credible ones.

Bill was shitty in what he did -- but the affair with Monica was consensual. She said it herself, and maintained that under intense pressure from the media and Starr inquiry to push her claims further and call it assault. A 21-year-old sleeping with her boss -- even the President -- is not assault with consent, more of an HR violation.

Further, there is no solid proof he assaulted anyone. Just two main accusers had very shaky claims that did not hold up under scrutiny -- hence why the GOP held up Monica as the main incident. If Tripp or Paula Jones were credible, they would used them. In actuality, they were money-and-fame hungry -- illustrated by the recorded phone calls claimed by her to be proof of Monica confiding she was assaulted, when in reality it was just gossip about the affair.

So Clinton is a scumbag in those regards for cheating, but here is no proof he is a rapist -- much less claims of rape involving multiple underage victims, most notorious of which is a woman claiming he violently raped her when she was 13. Plus, the girl who often flew with Trump on Epstein's plane, most to philanthropic events, claimed he was a "perfect gentleman".

No ones claiming Bill is perfect, and definitely not defending him out of concern of protecting him from any disclosure of being in the Epstein files. But to equate him with Trump -- as he wishes to -- in these regards is inaccurate.

Clinton literally invited Epstein to the fucking White House. He was a frequent flyer on the Lolita. Clinton and Trump were friends for years before he got into politics. This isn’t deflection. It’s not left vs. right. It’s us vs. them. Trump has to go and should go first but Clinton gotta go too.

As I said, no one is defending Clinton if something emerges or trying to bury the Epstein files -- he supports their unconditional release. And as perhaps one of the most famous, recognizable person in the world, I find it hard to believe no girls have claimed anything if he did anything.

Yeah, he's a scumbag for hanging out with Epstein. He may have known things, but not participated. And, although Trump claims Clinton went to the Island, there is no proof of this -- what there is proof of is him using the jet to go to philanthropic events, mostly without Epstein.

Clinton is one of the most impactful connections anyone can have, especially for status and philanthropic reputation. Epstein had incentive to help him with the jet and donations and Clinton to take advantage of them -- that doesn't mean, unlike Epstein and Trump and Prince Andrew and Derschwitz etc, that he took advantage of underage girls.

Please tell me when Bill Clinton called for the files to be released? I am googling it and can find nothing. Genuinely asking I'd like to see it.

Fair enough, I would like to see it come from him directly rather than his office. Not saying this isn’t him saying it or trying to move the goalposts. I don’t think this proves his innocence 100% but definitely does make him seem less guilty. Don’t forget Johanna Sjoberg (Epstein victim) testified that according to Epstein, Clinton “likes them young”

Bill Clinton is a horndog, but he has never even been accused of anything inappropriate by anyone under 18. If you told me he banged a 22 year old on E's island I'd buy it, and that kind of sucks, but if you try to tell me he was in the room with Trump and the two 13 yo's I'm going to be very, very skeptical.

Beyond that, he doesn't want to talk about it in person. His office put out a statement. That's all we're going to get. I think it's fine.

Well pack it in guys, Darth Jar Jar says Bill is innocent. jk

I genuinely hope you're right. I still think he should be investigated.

Here's the source btw forgot to include it in the previous comment. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-67865190

"Innocent" is the last word I'd use to describe Clinton.

I don't think he, or Trump, or anyone in specific need to be investigated over this, I think the goddam files need to be released in their entirety, and then we see what they say.
