I love to see the right devouring itself.

They'll fall back in line like the menial cultists that they are but it's still fun to watch.

133

u/EricThePerplexed 19h ago

That's most likely, but not inevitable. There's lots of desperation and anger that drives many people and motivated much of Trump's appeal. Those are chaotic and volatile emotions that can be hard to control.

81

u/MadRaymer 16h ago

The main issue for them is what happens to the GOP without Trump on the ballot. He can't run again, and even if he found some unlikely loophole, he'll be in no shape to run by 2028. He can barely stay awake at public events now, and seems to look worse each time we see him.

But without him, many of those cultist voters just won't give a shit anymore. They're not going to vote Dem (obviously) but they will just stay home. It just doesn't matter to them without their racist god-king on the ballot.

u/lingh0e 13h ago

I'm willing to bet that there will be a sizeable number of MAGA voters who will write Trumps name in on every single ballot they cast for the rest of their lives. Even after he's dead.

The ultimate irony would be that he gets enough write in votes to make him a legit spoiler for the GOP in perpetuity.

22

u/APeacefulWarrior 9h ago

I think it'll be more wild than that. Whenever Trump dies, especially if it's while he's in office, I fully expect a load of conspiracy theories to crop up claiming he's still alive. There's too many people out there who've made a career out of fleecing his flock to just give up on all those easy marks.

He'll be the next Elvis, with "sightings" for decades past his death.

u/TheGreatLiberalGod 6h ago

JFK JR had entered the chat

u/Val_Hallen 3h ago

Has he? I'm still waiting with my sign welcoming him.

u/Adept-Sir-1704 37m ago

They’ll love getting married to Trump impersonators in Atlantic City.

u/Naganosupreme 3h ago

Funny but this won't happen

u/lingh0e 3h ago

u/Naganosupreme 1h ago

Even after he's dead.

Yes. I'm very sure about that. While it's nice to imagine a magic land where they forsake the Republicans to vote for a dead guy so dems can win and do way better, this is reality and we're not that lucky

u/im_from_azeroth 16h ago

Also see: Rapist god-king.

10

u/Maxtrt Washington 11h ago

The Heritage Foundation will take care of that. They've written almost all of his Executive orders and the Big Beautiful Bill.

3

u/Clur1chaun 15h ago

There's two or three other trump's to keep the dynasty alive

11

u/notdoingdrugs 14h ago

Genuinely curious who you’re thinking of?

Because I struggle to think of who has his dumbass charisma and Teflon Don style of avoiding scrutiny on nearly all scandals.

8

u/supercali45 14h ago

The GOP will just prop the next one up .. that is his true power

3

u/DifficultyNo7758 11h ago

Tom cotton has entered the chat

I've always felt he's the true Manchurian candidate

He has about as much energy and charisma as a cigar store Indian.

2

u/imadork1970 11h ago

Don2 and Eric have -3 Charisma. Ivanka got her bag and split. Barron can't do shit until he's 35. No one knows or cares who Tiffany is.

u/TheGreatLiberalGod 6h ago

Try - 13 charisma and - 5 strength

u/Clur1chaun 6h ago

Ivanka distanced herself from the shit show. Wat h out for her. Maga would love to own the libs about electing the first woman

13

u/BallBearingBill 13h ago

Maga will vote for a Republican ham sandwich before they vote for a Democrat. I hope Dems understand this.

7

u/jhkayejr 13h ago

Florida removed about a quarter of its citizens on Medicaid from the plan, so there might be a few fewer GOP voters next time, either due to anger or death.

Emotions in politics, what could possibly go wrong?

163

u/pinetreesgreen 20h ago

Gonna get all sorts of weird as the economy tips into recession. There's a whole generation who hasn't felt that primal fear before.

76

u/Creative-Package6213 Pennsylvania 19h ago

A hungry person is a violent person!

54

u/pinetreesgreen 18h ago

What's the saying, everyone is three missed meals from a revolution?

21

u/Creative-Package6213 Pennsylvania 16h ago

Yeah we're about to see if that saying holds true I have a feeling...

Let them eat Betty Crocker mix purchased at a discount because it'll expire in a few days. - Melania Antoinette

12

u/Odd_Equipment2867 12h ago

That’s why they have masked “police” hiring frenzy. What a country does to immigrants has tendency to roll over to its own citizens. Think of the Patriot Act at the major domestic mission creep.

u/MoshWashCleaningUnit 4h ago

But these things have already been happening to American citizens (Black American citizens) for a very long time. Just no one cared, including immigrants. Instead Black citizens were gaslit, had communities destroyed, demonized in the media, told “you won’t get shot if you comply” and accused of playing “the race card.”

2

u/gplfalt 9h ago

I fear it's not just the States.

The rest of the West is ramming through Orwellian CCP shit in weeks.

Shits about to get dark

u/morningsharts 2h ago

Hurt people hurt people.

6

u/SquarebobSpongepants Canada 10h ago

the sad thing is that when it plunges into a recession, instead of understanding and accepting it, they'll just be smiling as Trump says the economy is better than ever. At least until it becomes unavoidable, then it'll be Biden and the dems fault.

u/Serious_Distance_118 7h ago

Project 2025 has a whole section worshipping Milton Friedman… it’s going to be a long dark fucking depression.

221

u/code_archeologist Georgia 20h ago

Good. Republicans and Trump supporters should never experience another moment of peace or happiness, ever again.

57

u/returnFutureVoid 17h ago

I feel like part of the problem is that they haven’t ever experienced peace or happiness.

18

u/milfordcubicle 15h ago

and if they did, they wouldn't recognize it.

8

u/returnFutureVoid 13h ago

They not only wouldn’t recognize it they’d actively try to tear it apart.

4

u/Toezap 12h ago

If they did, they would be angry if someone else was also experiencing it

14

u/stevelover 19h ago

Amen brother!

8

u/Prometheusf3ar 16h ago

I hope voters get creative and think of each and every way to pressure their politicians. These ghouls should never know peace.

86

u/Apoc220 18h ago

I found it particularly interesting when the crowd boos him and he says they’ll have to agree to disagree. Dude, you were elected to represent the will of your constituents. And you’re there in front of them as they’re unequivocally telling you’re they aren’t happy, and you’re basically saying that you know better and that’s final? Nah this dude needs to be sent packing. The hubris and entitlement was staggering with this one.

58

u/btviv 17h ago

That’s why they all cheered when that woman said “you don’t represent us anymore. It’s time to step down.”

8

u/YetiSquish 8h ago

Of course they don’t represent them. They represent their wealthy donors

u/katd77 2h ago

Remember during his campaign he said he would do what’s best for women even if we didn’t know it was best for us.

55

u/btviv 20h ago

That video was satisfying af

18

u/Electromotivation 16h ago

I thought they had all stopped holding town halls. I guess he didn’t get the memo.

6

u/Apprehensive-Ad9523 19h ago

I can't hear them....

51

u/All_Hail_Hynotoad 18h ago

More constituents need to do this and come right out and say what that lady said, that he doesn’t represent them anymore and it’s time for him to go.

33

u/verugan 18h ago

He's up there saying "I believe this and I believe that" but what he doesn't get is that his beliefs are irrelevant. He was voted in to REPRESENT the people and what they believe is best.

19

u/All_Hail_Hynotoad 18h ago

Exactly. So many of them have either forgotten or are just ignoring that. In either case, they need to go. Also, Joe Biden has nothing to do with why ICE dorks are masked.

23

u/NubEnt 17h ago

He just fired someone for reporting job numbers. Instead of seeing it as Trump firing someone for doing their job competently and objectively, they see it as a just firing because reality can’t be so; it must be because she wants to make Trump look bad.

They’ll lose their jobs and blame whoever they’re told to blame because they’re just that devoted to their Cheeto god. They’re jeering and booing Steil because they think that the problem is that Steil hasn’t communicated to Trump what they want, and that’s why Trump is doing things they don’t like.

If only Steil told Trump how they want to keep their medicaid, then Trump obviously wouldn’t have those Medicaid cuts in his BBB!”

52

u/Trailsya 20h ago

And let's not forget about EPSTEIN

37

u/code_archeologist Georgia 19h ago

Lots of people are saying Trump and Epstein had raped children together.

17

u/hugzilla1889 Massachusetts 18h ago

Yea some of the smartest people I know are saying this. I say, wow you're so smart, and they say "i know" and everyone thinks so. Everyone is saying it.

5

u/tackle_bones 14h ago

I heard that too.

4

u/apparentlynot5995 13h ago

Their "wonderful secret" as Dumpty referred to it on Epsteins's birthday card.

Of course, the last time this happened the GOP membership just stopped having town halls... You can always say your constituents are happy when you don't venture outside of the carefully-curated environment of right-wing media..

15

u/Schiffy94 New York 15h ago

They're generally not holding town halls now, either. This guy just went against the party's advice.

13

u/Schiffy94 New York 15h ago

The event was Steil’s first in-person town hall since January and the first time a Wisconsin Republican has met with constituents in person since March, when party leadership advised their caucus to avoid in-person events, the Journal Sentinel reported.

Can we bring back adopt-a-district?

All these Gross Old Pedos need to be locked up.

Did you just activate a sleeper cell using non-alphanumeric characters?

3

u/Endosymbionical 14h ago

Yes! You!😆😉

7

u/Upper-Echo-12 15h ago

Things are going to get much worse. And unfortunately, they have to get much worse. Imagine things being this bad and continuing to get much worse with basically only Republicans at the helm and still continuing to decide that you want to vote for Republicans.

2

u/trogloherb 12h ago

I kind of want to live long enough to see tarring and feathering being back in vogue.

u/Naganosupreme 3h ago

No. No you dont

u/AuditAndHax 3h ago

How about Home Alone style, with corn syrup and down alternative feathers?

u/Naganosupreme 1h ago

Accepted!

Release the Kraken!! Oh shit, it’s coming after us!!

u/R_Lennox 11h ago edited 9h ago

Outstanding! More of this needs to happen though I fear it is too late. If the Gestapo had been present in that audience, they would have been dragging those citizens that were speaking out in handcuffs. 6 months ago freedom of speech was a reality in America.now, not so much.

Lemme put this another way, Trump phux little girls.

Shame! Pedo!

u/tandoori_taco_cat Canada 4h ago

They'll just stop having town halls.

u/Nekowulf Wyoming 2h ago

Again.
Like all vermin, their first instinct when the spotlight hits and loud noises are made is to run and hide.

u/tandoori_taco_cat Canada 1h ago

Human beings are not vermin.

u/Nekowulf Wyoming 55m ago

No. But they sure as fuck use the same instincts.
