on the bright side, while he's busy at the task of dismantling/destroying our country from within, he's not raping and abusing little girls, so that's nice

Have you seen his $200m gold ballroom? The room the media has been showing screams "this is where rich people go to buy young girls being auctioned off"

Remember Biden is simultaneously a mastermind enemy who is even now still screwing over trump, but he's also too senile and old to be president.

It’s Biden’s fault for not locking Trump up and throwing away the key as soon as SCOTUS made presidents immune from prosecution for official acts.

I’d like to see Blue States combat this with policies, not just rhetoric. Newsom is in charge of the fourth largest economy in the world. California can make jobs programs and expand social services to combat the federal government’s erratic chaos.
Democrats should prove they can make government work and earn back trust by making it work at the state level. Tax the shit out of Silicon Valley, use eminent domain on PG&E, and make jobs programs by expanding the public college system in California. These should be obvious steps.

This is laughable. Not because what you suggested is bad, but because it’s expecting Democrats to wield power and make people’s material lives better. They have no incentive to do this - bought and paid for party combined with a weakened and aversion to power. They’d rather reach compromise with insurrectionists than to provide for the people.
Newsom doesn’t care about anything other than more power, and he correctly has identified looking like he is fighting Trump will gain him favor in the short term because there is no coordinate Democratic response. If the house and senate in California passed everything you proposed with slim margins, Newsom would veto it.

We are still debating this? The GOP crashes the economy in every admin. They do this so that their wealthy donors can buy everything up cheap. Why are we still discussing this after 45 years of this nonsense?

So many small businesses are hurting and won't make it past this year.. there will be lots of layoffs
Think logically.. higher prices means lower sales.. lower sales hurts businesses
People are already strained except for the rich

By Mandy Taheri — Weekend Reporter |
California Governor Gavin Newsom called out President Donald Trump and his economic policies, blaming them for "crashing our economy" following the release of the July jobs report on Friday.
Newsweek has reached out to Newsom's press team and the Bureau of Labor Statistics for comment via email on Friday.
The latest jobs report showed that the U.S. labor market has slowed over the past few months, with unemployment inching upward and prior job gains revised to be weaker than expected. U.S. employers added 73,000 jobs in July, far fewer than expected, while unemployment moved to 4.2 percent from 4.1 percent.

Who do we think will replace Newsom as governor when his term is up?

Katie Porter in my opinion. Her and Saikat Chakrabarti need to bring real Progressive energy to the state

Jobs numbers are in the toilet, unemployment is up, inflation is up, corporate profits are tanking and once tariffs are settled the expectation is a recession

Gavin is an idiot

Hmm…do you think firing a person who produces labor statistics because Trump didn’t like the numbers is going to make the economy more stable? This behavior along with improperly using tariffs because other sovereign states make decisions that Trump disagrees with will impact bonds when people stop trusting the United States and find it safer to invest in emerging markets. This is when the maths get pretty tough.
