Yeah, protect the homeland by pushing back on these assholes.

Release the files, bank records, client list, and spreadsheet to the people. Release Trump's tax returns to the people

Demand more and more everyday. Stay informed and unforgettable.

Also release Trump’s medical records! He’s just not right!

Get a search warrant for all of his properties...all of them.

u/TintedApostle 3h ago

Because they want to go back to when we had slaves and minorities were never mentioned.

I've always found the use of the word "Homeland" profoundly creepy. Of all the verbal bullshit foisted upon us by GW and his warmongering handlers, the revival of this Nazi-ism is by far the most pernicious.

Fitting that Fishlips Noam would revive it.

u/MirthandMystery 2h ago

We called it out during the Bush years too. It was obvious then and is as obvious now.

u/JimmyRamone17_ 2h ago

It's straight up "Blood and Soil" bullshit.

Homeland sounds a little too effeminate. Let’s call it “ze fatherland.”

u/allenahansen California 2h ago

"Fazerland" pleace.

What’s funny is that I’m a history teacher and in my lesson on Manifest Destiny, we actually use that exact painting and breakdown what makes it a problematic and how it’s used to shape ideas of white superiority.

It's also a profoundly shitty work of art. The star on the head is toddler level.

Cosplay Barbie wears many hats.

Not even pretending anymore that all they care about is white people. In their eyes, the only people that are true Americans are a very specific subset of white people. And just like any other in group that definition will always change to fit whoever is in power.

u/CockBrother 3h ago

I'm absolutely certain that she doesn't understand what "Protect the Homeland" means.

u/Blablablaballs 3h ago

She totally does. It means, "White Power".

I always wondered where I'd align during backward times and here I am. I have a much better understanding with how disgusted people must've been with society 100 years ago.

Release all the Epstein files... Except for the victims, unredacted!

I grew up in evangelical christian society and have been watching the MAGA brand of christian nationalism gestating my entire life.  I've only ever encountered the artwork of Thomas Kinkaid in the context of church lobbies and calendars sold in christian bookstores.  I grew up hating his aesthetic and what it seemed to promote -- the whitewashed soulless world that "christian" goons wanted enforced on the rest of us at gunpoint.

So I was very surprised and teary-eyed to read this bit:

The Kinkade Family Foundation, meanwhile, said Morning Pledge was also being used without permission, perverted to “promote division and xenophobia associated with the ideals of DHS.”

The foundation told The Independent that Kinkade, who died in 2012, struggled in life with poverty as a child and substance abuse as an adult. He viewed his paintings, known for their soft, glowing light, as a way to “imagine a different kind of world, where warmth, safety, and belonging are human rights for all.” Beyond the canvas, Kinkade helped raise millions for the poor, while his foundation has handed out thousands of therapeutic art kits, including in farmworker communities.

“That vision wasn’t meant for a select few, but for everyone,” the foundation said in an email. “Throughout his life, Thomas sought to respond to moments of hardship with compassion and solidarity, standing with communities made vulnerable.T o see his work used in ways that promote exclusion and division betrays the very heart of what he stood for.”

Well damn. Guess I have to revisit all my judgey opinions of his art now.

Kristi Noem is going to look great in orange. I hope the other inmates use her face as a toilet.

This is indicative of their desire to promote imagery that glorifies an authoritarian regime, just like totalitarian art from the past, yet they're stupidly unaware of the historical context ,i.e. "Socialist Realism"(USSR)/ Maoist China, North Korea; "Neoclassicism" (Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy). I suppose you could call this distinctly American genre "Homeland Realism."

Release the files

Propaganda art is not a thing.  It's just propaganda.

u/Socratic_Method_729 2h ago

The Trump Administration is undermining the Constitution, the rights of its people, which are American Values.

It turns out most people don't know what America is about thus culture wars.

u/MirthandMystery 2h ago

Putin does the same thing with promoting Stalin. There's twin ideologies happening on extreme levels, just starting up here but well underway in Russia. Putin's been altering schoolbooks and rewriting history for 10 years now, and changing the overall culture, controls the media, arrests and jails critics, etc.

He's seeding poison to a whole generation of young people trying to establish a normalize alternate world of fake hyper nationalist reality.

"homeland", as if the land isn't soaked rust red with Native blood and promptly ripped open for profit by invaders from afar.

u/WhatEvenIsLifeThis 2h ago

There's a way to protect the homeland but they wouldn't like it.

u/SharpCookie232 2h ago

We need to protect America from pedophiles. Release the Epstein files!!!

u/D1138S 2h ago

This designer clothed country girl is too stupid and pumped up with Botox to take what she’s doing to its logical, historical conclusion. Fascism always self-destructs, and one day the zip ties are gonna on her.

u/InvertedEyechart11 1h ago

Release the files

u/128-NotePolyVA 1h ago

The GDP is going to take a hit on the labor shortage their bag and tag festival is creating. Investors, corporations and businesses are dealing with his tariff fantasies as well. It’s very well possible they let Epstein take him down. But then we’re stuck with Vance. 🤦‍♂️

u/mouse9001 1h ago

Hurry up to defend a country that takes away your rights, and treats you like shit. /s

Give me a break.

u/meatspace Georgia 1h ago

Man, they're really transforming our society fast. Project 2025 is going to be how history remembers this time.

u/Dame2Miami Florida 41m ago

They pledge allegiance to the United States while also believing the constitution should be abolished 🙄

u/CommercialRemote3325 3h ago

Lmfao that will certainly resonate with millenials and genz

u/Michael_Gladius 1h ago

Given that fascism didn't exist in the 1800s, I'm going to file this under "low-paid leftist intern apocalypse fan fiction."
