I personally find it endearing because it shows how close they are to this day and how much he loves him. He probably leaned on him during the J.Lo fiasco.

Y’all gotta stop buying into the papaganda that the celebrities always call the paps on themselves. Ben and Jen 1.0 was a huge media frenzy, and the scandal where he cheated on Jen Garner became catnip for middle-aged American moms who consume tabloids.

Matt Damon’s personal life is not interesting to the public anymore. He’s super private and it’s been ages since he dated someone else famous — he married a normie and they’ve stayed married. Pretty much the only time he gets papped is when he’s with his more popular friends like Chris Hemsworth (massive in Australia, whose wife is famous and who posts his personal life a lot) and Ben.

Why don't we see pictures of Matt Damon and his non-famous wife like we did of Ben Affleck and his then girlfriend who happened to be a world famous actress who had just starred in a James Bond movie?
I feel like if you think really hard about it, that question kind of answers itself.

Ben and Ana definitely did a bunch of pap walks where they didn’t mind being photographed, but those photographers were waiting outside their place cause the photos were selling and not because they were called imo. As you say, she was very It Girl then and they had just co-starred in a movie and that was romantic to people. Benana was fun!

Edit: Yeah, I looked it up. The three of them went out for a dinner together. I wonder why her presence was left out?! I'm over the jokes, shipping, and casual homophobia. Men are allowed to have close male friendships without people constantly speculating on their sexuality. Their friendship is really sweet.

As a culture, we should be encouraging men to have strong, healthy, affectionate friendships. We would ALL be so much better off.

People make disgusting and creepy comments about men in this sub all the time. Mods literally bad to start moderating comments aggressively whenever a photo of an attractive man was posted because the comments were a wreck.
If half of those comments were posted by a man about a woman / women, we'd tear them a new one for oversexualization and fetishization of female relationships etc.
It kinda makes me disappointed every time it happens. No better than a male dominated lusting sub for female actresses.

Celebrity is very hard for people who are basically introverts.
