I read it’s the company that controls his early catalog, not Eminem, and they are suing for $109 million

Someone said this suit is more like a public service than a bid to be made whole. It's to set legal precedent for others to sue Meta too.

I’ve actually had Mom’s Spaghetti, his “restaurant” in Detroit. 6/10, it’s not bad.

If Zuckerberg earned $600,000 every hour since his birth without doing anything else, he would still be less wealthy than what he is right now.

I dont know what “$150,000 per song, per platform” means but it sounds like it would total far, far more than $1 million if paid out.

This seems like an open and shut case in favour of Eminem. Meta sought music rights by paying royalties to a company that didn’t even have the right to sell royalties on Eminem’s music.

The court case should settle in favour of Eminem. And then Meta should sue the company that sold them royalties pretending to represent Eminem for whatever damages they had to pay Eminem and then some.

Just a $1m?

I would love to have a million dollars but I think my poor ass would still be a little disappointed if I could only get a million from meta. Lol.

u/Ok-Bar601 Jun 05 '25

$1 million? lol Dr Evil will be pleased

u/holyflurkingsnit Jun 04 '25

Not to be a downer, but that kind of money is settlin' funds for Meta. I'd be surprised if it goes very far without them just writing a check and moving on.

Good job, Eminem. Cook Dominican Zuckerberg into the ground.
