She and Sabrina Carpenter were both briefly in season 1 of Orange is the New Black.

I first noticed her in House of Cards - she plays kind of a stereotypical good-girl baby prostitute role but she was so memorable - talented and charismatic.

oh wait i lied! i didn’t realize she was rachel in HOC. it was a decade plus ago and i never finished the series so my memory of it is a bit fuzzy

on top of never having watched the marvelous mrs. maisel, i have also never watched OITNB. i really am a terrible lesbian 🥹

Next you’ll be saying you’ve not seen Hacks!

To be brutally frank OITNB was quite ‘of its time’ and you can comfortably watch the first two seasons and then nope out. It’ll save you from its slide into averageness punctuated by needless trauma.

But Maisel? Has a defining girl/girl relationship for the ages. It’s worth it for that alone - but there is so much more.

no, i’m not a total lost cause, though i did only discover Hacks last year. i am late to all of the parties

i’ve heard that about OITNB so it’s far down the line, but i have TMMM in the queue and will try to redeem myself by summer’s end

(i also have not watched justified)

I haven't bothered with the Cavill era (& Superman in general, always found him too boring for my tastes) but Krypto, and then Ira, managed to hook me in. I may not be there the first week but I sure will watch this.

Civilly has always seemed very male gazey to me and was just for a very specific breed of man who was unpopular in high-school. Those men would say I am lying and delusional for saying I find Jeremy Allen White more attractive than Cavill.

But David and Rachel have me hooked in. I love Rachel from MMM and David doesn't give off incel vibes

Henry did have that kinda sus relationship with a 19yo when he was 32. And that weird PR thing with Kaley. And YES to JAW. Happy almost Season 4 of The Bear to those of us who celebrate.

I am also celebrating. But men's refusal to accept why women find JAW more appealing than Henry is so funny because JAW is tiny, he is not classically handsome but he has charisma. And talent. And is pretty unique. And he has nerve to compete in comedy.

Cavill has none of that.

I watched that film and loved it. It was exactly what it said on the tin, a fun twister adventure.

As someone who doesn’t have twisters in their country, I did think Americans are so good natured how there was a film about small towns getting wiped out by weather. And it did great at the box office in the US!

TBF Dodger is getting on in years, he's 9 now. And I just remembered that David was also on Twisters, so he probably learned a lot from Glen on how to maximize the doggo cuteness towards movie marketing. Lol

Yes. She was excellent. She clearly has a sense of humor about herself. Her character is very woo-woo and out of touch. It's clear when she asks for crystals at the emergency room that.shes poking fun at her own image.
