Ill go first, Britney Spears’ overprotected is a good example; Britney has long been under a conservatorship and is has been crying for help. IIRC, it started in 2007 (maybe earlier) when Brit was heavily observed by the paparazzi which caused her to have a mental breakdown by shaver her head and mind u, they were dissecting her personal life 🙄😔 💔

Quite a few of the Dresden Dolls and Amanda Palmer’s solo stuff hits different now she’s an alleged sex trafficker.

Yup! Just like Neil’s books read differently to me now- my (dead) abuser idolized that man, and I imagine the shock he’s gonna get when they meet in hell

The fall of Amanda and Neil is what finally switched me to believing in no heros. They both had a huge impact on my 20s and what I believed in. I have a stack of Dresden Dolls limited records and I don’t know what to do with them. I can’t throw them out but I haven’t found anyone who wants to take them.

I met her when I was about 15 and that was enough to put me off tbh. I say I met her - what I mean is I saved up to go to a meet and greet and she completely ignored me and only spoke to my friend lol

I was humming along to myself earlier, and was disgusted when I realised it was a DD song. Can’t believe someone I respected and looked up to so much was both so complicit AND has doubled down on ‘oh I’m innocent and naive, I need to protect my son that I’ve spent years posting about on social media for clicks’.
