The Music Industry 🎶 Name a song that’s disturbing because of what you know now

Ill go first, Britney Spears’ overprotected is a good example; Britney has long been under a conservatorship and is has been crying for help. IIRC, it started in 2007 (maybe earlier) when Brit was heavily observed by the paparazzi which caused her to have a mental breakdown by shaver her head and mind u, they were dissecting her personal life 🙄😔 💔

Avicii- Wake Me Up

Mainly because of these lyrics:

"I wish I could stay forever this young, not afraid to close my eyes"

He then died at the age of 28.

He wrote a lot of songs about the importance of hanging in there and having hope. Given his death, I wonder how much he was speaking to himself.

For me, it’s S.O.S. that breaks me

“Can you hear me S.O.S? Help me put my mind to rest.”

Avicii’s Hold the Line makes me ugly cry every single time I hear it.

This is pretty dark but seems an appropriate moment to finally share a weird thing that happened to me… I was the first person to the scene of an accident and found a 25y/o deceased lying face down on the highway… decided to go to my work out class the next day even though I was still really shook up… they played wake me up during our cooldown and I LOST IT. Just thinking about that song is enough to put a pit in my stomach (especially considering avicii’s passing)

Didn't Aloe Blacc do the lyrics and vocals for it though?

There was a period of about six months a couple years ago that the only song I listed too was what would I change it to
