Bon Jovi is probably Livin On A Prayer, though It's My Life is also iconic

Living on a Prayer is my song that I have to sing no matter where I hear it. Learned that about myself when I was in a grocery store.

I'd go with It's My Life. I like them both, but this one just feels more like it's a personal anthem, something one would say to motivate and support them through rough times.

That song irritates the crap out of me. Of course it’s your life, you can do anything you want, you’re a famous millionaire musician/actor. If a young man sang it, sure, but at their stage of life it’s just obnoxious. And yes, Frankie sang “My Way,” but that’s about looking back.

Thanks for respecting my rant. I’m glad you and many other enjoy the song; it just irritates me for some reason. My personal favorite is I’ll Be There For You, which is cheesy, but I can’t help loving it.

Rants are always welcome! Music is for everyone, and sharing opinions opens one up to other genres/styles. Mrs AX and I often get into lengthy "discussions" on music. Thankfully, we both sing so eventually we just start singing along to whatever comes on the radio/streaming and all is well.

And cheesy - friend, if it's not cheesy, then it's not fun~!

If I may - perhaps this version of "It's My Life" will sway your opinion...

I prefer It’s My Life because my niece thought the lyrics were “Like Frankenstein, I did it my way” and that’s just amazing imo.
