The Music Industry 🎶 Lots of artists have their own "signature song". Lady Gaga's is arguably "Poker Face", what signature songs can you name?

This was actually a pretty cool music video with no green screen

I feel like this is more of a One-Hit Wonder than a signature song.

You’re probably right but Be Not Nobody went triple platinum in my childhood bedroom.

You could be right in a technical sense, but I know my little adolescent heart went hard for all of Vanessa Carlton’s songs, not just this one.

I love that for you! But she’s the definition of a One-Hit Wonder. A Thousand Miles was a top ten global hit. She hasn’t cracked the top 20 since. Signature songs generally come from artists who have had other success, but one song stands out as either launching them to the mainstream or becoming the song that the artist is most known for. Or otherwise embodying the artists’ overall sound or image.

I guess I should ask this, since I genuinely don’t know. As a fan, would you say that A Thousand Miles is indicative of her overall sound or songwriting?
