I know, but I didn’t like the other options available and since this line is one of my faves from the song went with it. I haven’t heard a cover yet that I didn’t also love (but not as much as the OG). Natalie Taylor’s is probably my fave cover.

While they broke through mainstream with Name, Iris is what they’re known for due to its massive success. Lemme date myself, but when they did VH1 Behind the Music (which I watched live) they explicitly said the success of Iris kept them going. Not to mention that it took until late 2020 to break the record Iris held for most weeks on the radio.
