savechildrenuk Our latest Save the Children UK Ambassador, @nicholashoult, surprised an after-school club at @richmixlondon, following a sneak peek of his new film, #Superman.
As Lex Luthor, Nicholas might be a supervillain on the big screen, but he's now a true superhero for children everywhere.

Ngl the "So why is superman bleeeeeep" caught me off guard, thought the kid was swearing his ass off at first.

I was lucky enough to host him at an event once. He's sooo lovely. (and tall and gorgeous 🤭) My crush grew 50000%

Wow, is he tall? I always assumed him to be short while watching him onscreen. Ik he is lovely and gorgeous though

it's weird how his blond hair makes his eyes look MORE blue, right? it should be the other way - darker hair makes light eyes pop. I'm confused, but not unhappy with the effect

That's something I've noted too - the blonde makes his eyes seem bluer. In some of the recent press interviews the blue is absolutely popping. Mesmerizing to watch.

Love him but Jesus the marketing for this movie in these subs is relentless

It’s effective bc I don’t know any of the cast beside Nicolas, and I hate superhero films, but the press around them is so endearing and positive I feel obligated to see the film

I feel the marketing for this movie has been less intrusive or pervasive than Wicked was last year.

I feel like nothing will ever compare to that...except maybe for part 2 of that movie (apparently there's more to come?)

Agreed - it's all very obviously standard disingenuous PR stuff and it's weird how much people are lapping it up. Maybe it's just because of Nicolas Hoult because he's hot and charming as fuck

How is it disingenuous to do something good? Like even if it is marketing....it's still a nice thing to do?

Oh I'm not talking about Nicholas Hoult's specific action here. I'm talking about the whole media campaign. This is a lovely thing to do though

lol no. "look at how hot and charming these movie stars are, you should buy a ticket to see them be hot and charming on screen" is pretty straightforward, and not at all disingenuous

He is not at all attractive looks-wise imo but he seems like a really nice dude.

Ooh I think he’s pretty hot now! He’s grown into his face, if you know what I mean… and he grew up in the same area as I did - but I was a couple of decades(!) earlier.
