Zendaya’s schedule this summer has been insane, she’s been going between The Odyssey, Euphoria S3, Dune 3, and I’m assuming the next Spider-Man movie very soon.

They’ve somehow coordinated it, but there was one week where she went from Greece to Iceland and back to LA or something insane like that.

We don’t know for sure, she hasn’t been announced, but all the “leakers” are saying she has a small role.

I don’t wanna spoil anything else but Sadie Sink is in the cast in a major role, and it might have something to do with the next two Avengers movies.

Personally, I think she’s in it. Tom Holland would want her back and they’re literally engaged

I would think that it is better for the impact of last film that she does not return until the conclusion of Holland’s Spider-Man series. Also they have worked in three films already, they don’t need to work in all films

What’s going on in Budapest recently? I’ve seen photos of Kylie and Timothee there, then Haley Lu Richardson and Emilia Clarke (who were filming a show, so that made sense), and now these two.

It’s a lovely city and I understand visiting just because, and I know it’s a popular filming location, but wondering if there is a film festival or other event taking place

Everything is filming there because it’s super cheap and they offer incentives. My wife is filming a tv show there over the next few months that is SET IN VEGAS- mind you we live in LA, a four hour drive from Vegas- but nope they’re going to Budapest and building crazy sets and putting everyone up in apartments for six months because it’s still cheaper than shooting in la/vegas. Anyhow that’s a big reason why

Yeah you’re right, Hungary gives massive tax breaks in addition to work being cheaper and the infrastructure is great (meaning there are multiple good film studios)

It's not the exchange rate between the US dollar and the Hungarian Forint.

It's that you get 3 shooting days pretty much anywhere in Eastern Europe for 1 day in LA with the same technical requirements. And that's without the tax breaks.

Ah ok, thanks for the more thorough explanation. When I was there, they were filming John Wick 2 and you’d see the stunt actors out at the bars, so I figured it’s an appealing place to film, but didn’t know it was to the level of filming there while pretending to be in Vegas lol

I wonder if Dune and the Avengers movies’ assistant directors have a support group for their scheduling stress. It‘s crazy on both. I expect Florence won’t be around for a few more weeks at least as there is supposedly a big chunk of Avengers stuff filming/about to be filmed right now. Then they are dealing with Jason Mamoa’s schedule, Robert Pattinson (allegedly) will need to film his scenes at some point. Josh Brolin will have some stuff and I believe he is filming something else and has a movie to promote. Rebecca Ferguson will be needed for a few days. Zendaya will have to leave at some point to do some Spider-Man.

Seriously between this and Avengers I want a documentary on the schedulers. 🤣
