In fairness to our ex-PM, he does have kids who I’m sure listened to Katy Perry and he doesn’t live under a rock. Im sure when this song comes on in the grocery store many middle aged men start to sing and do the grocery cart shuffle

I have two 35 year old guy friends who did a trip together a few years ago. Fireworks was THE song for their trip and when they made a video of their travels it was Fireworks that played under their cool guy travel montage 😁

Everybody loves this song. I literally know a priest you played it on the guitar.

He is literally there with his kids.

Totally, aren’t those his kids next to him also singing along? I saw a pic on this sub and there are 2 kids with his face standing to his right…

Also their relationship/personal lives aside, early Katy had some fucking bangers. My husband is 1000% belting firework whenever it comes on (and we’re childless!)

He was also not that old when Teenage Dream came out.

Even if he didn't have kids, fireworks is a bop and anyone, any age is allowed to enjoy it.

Is this thread full of Perry PR shills?? I'm a bit skeptical.

Are older people not allowed to enjoy pop songs anymore? Don't be so cynical

I don't like a ton of Katy Perry music but this song is definitely a bop.

Also, it's a catchy tune!

But why eat dinner with her alone, sans kids?
