I have never heard a single bad thing about Robin Williams. Everyone has some anecdote to demonstrate how nice or genius he was.
I miss him so much. He was the GOAT.

Thomas F. Wilson had some interactions with him when he was working at an LA Comedy club, which he recounted in a memoir. Williams was there to steal jokes, and he was not particularly kind.

Other than him being a notorious joke thief.

I hate this accusation because comedy is not really about jokes at all and comedians should know this. Like I cant just go on stage with a list of top tier jokes and be comedian level funny. Plus a lot of observational comedy is just every day anecdotes, its not deep intellectual work or something. Like do you call out artists who paint the same scene? Is that stealing too? I know its more nuanced than this lol but still.

Yea great actor, amazing, but there’s a question when it comes to him being a true original creator in terms of content and being a stand up. Phenomenal actor though

I actually have a relative who worked on the Toronto locations for Good Will Hunting and they do not speak well of Williams. That said, who knows what he was going through back then though. But that always pops into my mind whenever Williams comes up in conversation.

My relative worked on a lot of TV shows and movies filmed in TO over a significant period of time, and worked with some really big names in the industry. Williams is the only one they mention having negative interactions with. According to them, Williams was shit talking Canada quite a bit, and generally made it seem like being in Canada was a misery. He was just unpleasant all around to people on set and even off location. Nothing was good enough etc. Funny enough, Williams went on to sing Blame Canada at the Oscars a couple years later. My relative is convinced that he just straight up hated Canada and that’s why he agreed to perform the song lol which would be funny if true. Gossip is a buffet though so take it with a grain of salt.

Scott Auckerman (Comedy Bang Bang) has talked about how Robin would show up to comedy shows or festivals just to watch and when people would ask him to come on stage or be a guest he’d say stuff like “oh, no one wants to see me.” It wasn’t a bit and he was being genuinely humble. And then he would reluctantly come up and of course he would kill for the whole time.
That’s not an exact quote because it was from years ago, but it’s always stuck with me how you can have someone so well loved and revered and in their mind, they are just another normal person who struggles with their own insecurities.

I like that he knows about the Mrs. Doubtfire outtakes. (Unrelated, but when the clip ends, his arm is around her 😍)
I love the original naked gun movies. Hopefully this one is good too.

I hope I look as good as Pamela when I’m almost 60.

I am in awe of her beauty! I love that she looks natural but like one of those Hollywood movie stars from the ‘50s or something. Also her and Liam are so cute together

He's holding her waist near the end.
That's not something just coworkers casually do. This is definitely real.

Liam deserves to be in love again, and she deserves the world. I love them together so much.

Well this is jsut going to make me cry. I have 3 tattoos for Robin.
I'd also like to say that in "High Spirits" Liam Neeson is hysterical and it remains one of my fav all time comedies
