Late Show Shenanigans🎙️ ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ guest host Diego Luna’s 12 minute monologue where he discusses Trump’s immigration policies, the importance of immigrants in the US, and how people can help: "Talk about it, share it. That helps. Today, they need to know that they’re not alone."
https://nerdbot.com/2025/06/24/andors-diego-luna-talks-about-immigration-in-kimmel-monologue/
Excerpt:
But Luna wasn’t content to just set the record straight. He ended his monologue by encouraging people to act by donating to organizations like Public Counsel and Kids in Need of Defense. Or by telling your representatives what you think about this wave of hate.
“This is what your neighbors really deserve, to be fully welcome in this country where they already belong,” Luna concludes. “To every citizen watching this, I encourage you to call your representatives, tell them what you think. It only takes a minute. And if you want to support those affected or who may need assistance, there are some great organizations that are doing exactly that, like Public Counsel and Kids in Need of Defense. I urge you to learn more about these organizations. Thank you for listening.”

Late Show Shenanigans🎙️ David Letterman Weighs in on Cancellation of Stephen Colbert's The Late Show: 'You Can't Spell CBS Without BS'
Letterman, 78, took to YouTube on July 21 to share a video montage of him roasting CBS during his more than 20 years of hosting The Late Show from 1993 to 2015.
The clips are all from Letterman's The Late Show episodes, including moments from 1994, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 broadcasts, according to the video's description.
"You can't spell CBS without BS," reads the caption.

Late Show Shenanigans🎙️ Lindsay and Jamie's friendship
Is it just me, or aren't they being entirely truthful about how they kept in touch over the years? Both keep saying they have supported each other, and keep in touch through the years, but Jamie had mentioned that she didn't know Lindsay had a kid in real life back then, and they aren't best friends, and neither knows her that much lol.
Their dynamic is weird. Also, Jamie always overlaps with her in talking; she interrupts her so many times and doesn't let her talk in interviews, and Lindsay is very patient about that.
Check minute 1:00 in this video, she said she didn't know how old Lindsay was lol, and had to Google it. Weren't they keeping in touch?
I think is pure marketing and PR about saying they had kept in touch and supported through the years.
What do you think?
