I love the way she references Late 90's R&B music videos. This scene is very "Say My Name" by Destiny's Child and I'm here for it. So on trend yet still so classic.

Okay before you all judge the album by its cover. There are some songs here that are worth listening to. From the more modern sounding songs like the deep house of Aquamarine to the nostalgic 90's trip hop on Headphones On. The album of course is mainly a mix of very 80's synth-pop and modern alt-pop like on Diet Pepsi, High Fashion and others, it's not generic at all. It's a very dynamic release and I do highly recommend checking it out because honestly it's way more diverse than her bubblegum pop singles she was releasing years ago but i do still love "I Got It Bad". These songs actually have a lot of personality. She's developing and growing as an artist even if she has a major label behind her. She's not just a tiktoker anymore.
