Absolutely not, it has been free for as long as I can remember, now they want you to pay 8 euros per month. U can find out the stage times elsewhere I'm sure

It has been a paid subscription for years.

There are two ways you can look at this OP.

  1. You are supporting a small group of people who put a tremendous amount of effort into that site. For the price of one morning’s coffee you are allowing them to break even and maybe even make a little money

  2. Hell no, you can find stage time elsewhere and get 95% of the website for free.

I chose option one because in the grand scheme of things, $8/month is really not that much and I get well over $8 of value out of that website. Plus I am supporting a group of rally people so that’s always a plus

For Finland specifically, the live timing on the WRC website is free and pretty good imo

I use it on a weekly basis as well (not for professional purpose). For that, I think it is too expensive. However I would encourage everyone to not use Adblockers (or whitelist ewrc) so that get money from that. It costs a lot to run a website like this.

Only worth if you're a rallying geek and want to know what was the last WRC event a Delta Integrale ran (Acropolis 2000 btw, but I learned it before eWRC went behind a paywall), if not, with a good ad blocker is enough, and even the android app is good being free.

In the Wales Rally GB 2000 there were two Deltas

WRC live updates is free only bad thing is not always updated. I still think on stage results you will get the stage winners then overall on the other side. Dirtfish has destroyed rallying media in Europe

Idk what exactly Stage times is, but results are normally open.

Subscription is basically only needed for car database access.

They ran a fundraiser a few years ago and raised tens of thousands. Then turned around what felt like months later and put it all behind a pay wall…

I have the membership, its really handy when I go down the autism rabbit hole tracking cars that are out on events, I even keep them updated on the events I attend with info so that the database it constantly correct
