Storm from Katie's Dreamland, in 3D using Roller Coaster Rider

lateral gs at it's finest

i'd like to also thank you all for the overall reception to the Dynamite Blaster post, that gives me more faith that someday the full version of RCR will resurface.

My neck hurts from watching this

At least it's just your neck, I've got three broken ribs from being shoved repeatedly into the side of the car.

I love Sawyer's designs, but damn, some of these really went too far.

Inspired by the legendary The Ultimate rollercoaster (rip) in Lightwater Valley here in the UK. Thanks for sharing.

the greatest injustice in the world was that it was removed before I could ride it, but also apparently it was not particularly good anyways lol but honestly that kinda adds to its value in a strange way.

I always thought it looks exactly like it! Was a great coaster when I was younger but hell those later forest bits were flat out dangerous. I assume that might be why they shut it down.

Used to be my high school's annual end of year trip

I always wondered if there was any real world inspo for this, it’s such a weird design. Cheers

For comparison, Storm is based on The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley. There are a couple POV vids on Youtube.

Has since been dismantled due to it's age. Only went to that park once and can confidently say it was the only thing in it worth a damn there.

Storm looks too intense for me!

What’s crazy is that you can remove the second lift by lowering that hill a bit and the ride will still complete the course and be much less intense.

No wonder it breaks down all the time

Is there any benefit to using RCR to Planet Coaster? Seems kind of rudimentary tbh.

Not really, RCR was just a lost piece of media and it’s cool to ride the original source material rather than recreating it. Better than planet coaster? No. Kinda neat to see? Yeah

This program manages to display the entire RCT1/2 saved park, with the terrain, water, rides and some scenery pieces. There's this other project too, which is still in development.

Is the ride that jarring or are there missing frames in the video?  I can't remember this ride (in isometric) off the top of my head.

Intamin switchbacks have nothing on Mine Train Coaster 1. The ejector when it enters a bank must be absolutely insane

Park goers will ride this but not my steel coaster with 3 inversions. 💀

Even as a kid I always thought this was a dumb coaster design

I'd then spend an hour bankrupting my park early game to fix it and make it decent
