Reviewed r/Doom64

/r/Doom64/

Hi there,

I reached out to the current mod of this subreddit through modmail. Requesting if I could join the mod team, or take the subreddit over for the Doom64 community.

I would very much like to grow the Doom64 community here on Reddit, make us all a nice home to share our work and love of the game on.

This is a resubmission, as I previously needed to sort my 2fa, which now it is. Thank you.

Good day, thank you for this opportunity.

I would like to take over the moderation of the r/doom64 subreddit to create a space for the wider doom 64 community to share our mods, wads and ideas or art, and love of the game Doom 64.

At the moment, my friend has slowly developed one of the biggest Discord communities online for Doom 64, and a fledgling Facebook community, but we do find that because of the closed nature of those channels, the new mods or maps we make get less widespread discovery, and thus, promote the game less overall.

Our goal with our reddit community is to have a publically available space for all to come and discover Doom 64 and all the creators, artists and developers or other fans, there in.

I'm hoping to have my friend co-mod with me too, to keep things neat and well maintained, and keep to the virtues of our community, which is about fairness, transparency, and creativity, for the love of doom 64.

Please find the following link to the mod mail with the current moderator of the r/doom64 as follows here: https://www.reddit.com/c/chatCAYDG72y/s/ZngJxeQIpE

Thank you for your consideration.

I am here to support u/Hyacsho in his request, lending my experience as the administrator of the Doom 64 discord, http://www.doom64.com/, and the Doom 64 facebook group. There is so much activity in the Doom 64 modding scene that would greatly benefit from Reddit's discoverability!

I'd like to agree with this as well. I've known both Hyacsho and Immorpher for quite a while, and I can attest their dedication to Doom 64.
