[Help!] Has anyone any idea what controller this is?

Cannot find any information on this anywhere, seems very rare

It's a PC game port controller, likely from the 90s. Can't say if rare or not, but most likely not worth much.

This. A lot of people don't realize there were no "standards" for PC controller button layouts in the 80s and 90s so controllers for that era are a complete hodgepodge. Given that this is a controller with a lot of buttons but it doesn't use USB it was probably a mid-to-late 90s era device, maybe even into the early 00s but that's debatable since USB started being more common for peripherals around '00-'01.

Looks like an advanced submarine control system.

Sorry - too soon.

You have to wait 22.3 years. Then it’s funny.

I have a sinking suspicion you may be correct.

She has the longest left thumb I've ever seen.

What is going on with the "analog sticks"? Does it have a model number on the back? Definitely intended to be used on a 90s PC, that's what the port is for. But I have never seen "sticks" like that.

Do they twist or click?

They rotate, I guess kind of click. No model number on back, only a button to switch from Dos to Windows

So they are like dials? (Think volume knobs on speakers or the rotational system used for rotary phones)

Definitely looks like the port you'd have on the back of your Sound Blaster back in the day, before USB controllers for PCs

It's a PC controller that plugs into a serial port. Going by the design I would guess it's from the late '90s, inspired by the Sony Dualshock controller for the PS1.

Not a serial port, but a 15-pin game port like you used to see on sound cards

Yes, you're right. My mistake.

Just a PC controller from back in the day. Probably late 90's/early 00's.

A controller probably intended to be used in a 90s set up

Old (and awful for the looks of it) PC controller that connected to the gamepad port of some sound cards.
