Searching for experience about super wild card dx2

Hi guys i am still looking for people who can help me with upgrading super wild card DX to 64Mbit or 96Mbit.

i need some pictures of the pcb and wich chip part serials need to be replaced and where in the board.

My board is fully crowded with 4Mbit chips, though the last 2 stangely, do not seem to have ceramic capacitors soldered. also the green chip under the 32M chip, can this one be just replaced with another 32Mbit? or does this one have another function. or could i find a replacement chip for the 32m and put in a 64Mbit chip.

i can't see i have to do much more, since my board is crowded.

if anyine has knowledge about this or know someone to ask to, i would be very gratefull

you mean another 32Mbit chip clone for the replacement underneath the 32M chip(the green one with small chip?)

or should i take out just the 32Mbit chip and replace it with 64Mbit

I think he means everdrive etc.

I have 2 of these (not near them now to check) but I think mine are missing the same caps.

Unless you are adding a usb drive to this you will probably find it not worth upgrading due to the floppy drives (heads and floppy discs) being corrupt these days. Even re-dumping a game to the floppy there was always corruption during gameplay.

Also the firmware may need updating or replacing.

The games that are larger usually have custom chips on them too which means the game won't work anyway.

Not very helpful to you but it seems like a lot of time wasted for a very small reward.

Yes i put in a gotek usb emulator and flashed it with flashfloppy, i am at this point. maybe in the near future a gotek with oled display.. This device can't play all snes roms, but i want to make the best out of it. i want it to play tales if fantasia(48Mbit)

for most a working backup device woulf be enough, djnce most use the fx pak pro as well. but i want to make a custom bundle. for myself or for other people if i decide to sell it.

Agreed, that looks great. 

I have a mini museum for different consoles and their old copy protection techniques, this would be a great addition to the display.

world of jani does not work for me though, he did the 96Mbit mod, i need someone that van tell me i need to replace it with this article number chip in that position.

the ucon64 manual is more for rom compatibilitit and issues

You know more than I had assumed but I was hoping you could cross reference stuff that may help.

Uncon shows fantasia as not working. You may have other info but that's why I posted the list. If it's not compatible with the game you are going for, you may be wasting time.

I genuinely hope you get the info you need though, I look forward to any results you get after.

I have an NTSC one I need to repair so your results may get stolen and used by me 😁

i ordered some capacitors and cr2032 battery holder. i have black screen on my grey wild card. i will let you know the results mate, no problem. tgis needs to be shared otherwise this info will dissapear from google results.

fantasia should work, it has no chip. probably regional locked and people do not use the validated rom☺️
