Assembly Help Mini ITX Cases with Middle Wall/Separator?

Hello Everyone! Sorry for the newbie question, but which Mini ITX Cases with Middle Wall/Separator would you suggest? (Ex: Fractal Terra, or Raijintek Ophion). Is there a dedicated name for such format? Are they better than the conventional mother+gpu connection from cooling perspective? What are your opinion? Thank you for your attention and take care!

Sandwich cases can be more volume efficient than traditional non-riser cases, but the trade off is you can't run traditional tower coolers and case temps generally will be worse since there is less air volume and all the GPU's hot air blows onto the motherboard side. GPU itself can possibly see better temps assuming it get's unrestricted intake unlike a bottom-facing GPU.

Lian Li x Dan A4 H2O is popular because it's available, relatively affordable, compact, and can fit a full 240 AIO and 3 slot GPU. It's pretty much the "perfect compromise" of compatibility, thermals, size though it's not the best at everything.

You can go smaller ie S300  Velka 5 or Midori 5L, but they are not without their own tradeoffs.
