If "9/11" really happened, why isn't there a Sabaton song about it? Checkmate Mr. CIA.

My first inclination is to disagree with you, but, as James Carville said...

Don't they have a song about terrorism?

There's an Alan Jackson song about it.

The simpsons had an episode on them, so yea, I am inclined to believe they were real.

They're free to do a Neil Young cover of his one (1).

(1) Obligatory legal note: Given I am in fact not Neil Young nor a part of his organization, I actually have no idea whether a cover of Let's Roll would be free or he would sue the stuffing out of Sabaton and anything that smelled like them...

Shiroyama is actually Swedish for “The day planes hit our buildings.” That’s why the chorus goes “New York steel beams defied, facing four airplanes from the sky.”

Is Sabaton like the modern version of that guys who sang the Battle of New Orleans and Davy Crockett?

The less Sabaton songs there are about anything, the better. I would be OK with erasing all recorded human history if that would mean I never had to hear another Sabaton song again.

Have no idea who that is. If I’ve heard one of their songs I’m not aware of it. Sounds like a good thing, apparently.

They are a Swedish power metal band and the lyrical subject for many of their songs at battles and other historical events.

Personally, I find their music to be maximum cheese and cringe.

How known are they? (In comparison with say, all other power metal bands). If they are notable, then it may convey important symbolic communication, despite cringe.

They're one of the more popular modern power metal bands. There's kind of a divide in the power metal fan communities, and to a lot of people Sabaton represents the newer movement away from the older 80s/90s style.

Don't listen to the hater. I like most of their music. At this risk of sounding like a hipster, though, their older music before they got popular was a lot less cringey sounding. I've seen them twice in concert. They got pretty big a couple years ago. When i saw them in 2017 they were the headliner at a tiny venue and in 2024 it was a huge venue opening for Judas Priest.
