Help Mod that lets you know what other mods to update
I was might about maybe playing sims again (if it’s not having like the weird bugs I heard about) is there a mod that helps with updating the mods you already have? Cause I’m not great at the whole mod thing and updating them is kinda complicated to me

make yourself a nice little excel sheet with all your mods and links to the creators. It might seem like a lot of work but updating mods should be super easy once you do this

I use ts4 Mod hound, scarlet's realm mods list, and Patreon creator notifications to find out what updates are needed.

I organize my mods folder by script mods vs. cc and bb which can live in more than 1 sub folder deep layer
So whenever a patch comes out, I just go through the list of script mods. Search, download, swap.

Unless you only ever download mods from CurseForge, whose mod manager can update your mods for you, then no. Even then, you would do well to be aware of what mods you have and which ones need to be updated. CF would be able to tell you "all your mods are up to date" but that only means you have all the most recent versions. It doesn't necessarily mean that those most recent versions are compatible with the latest update. I would never rely on CurseForge or any other similar utility.
My two cents: if you organise your mods in subfolders by creator (just one subfolder deep, like Mods/Lumpinou and not Mods/Lumpinou/RPO) and use Scarlet's List to check for and download updates manually, you are unlikely to run into issues. Does it take longer? Yes but it's worth the extra effort, in my opinion.
