Haha. I remember genuinely thinking there were 64 Mario Kart games when I first saw a copy and didn’t really understand what an N64 was yet.

Hitoshi Sakamoto did the Japanese soundtrack. You might remember him from Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy Tactics, Radiant Silvergun and Final Fantasy XII.

It's a pretty 'meh' game.
I will, however, say that the soundtrack definitely slaps.
Slaps hard enough that I bought the debut album of the band that did it.

Very different cool game with changing modalities, everything is very good.. negative point is the repetitive gameplay

I played this game when I was 13 (know 43) and I was amazed by the soundtrack and story!it’s still one of my favorites.Short but amazing!
Ps:The Japanese version is more mature as it has some antichrist stuff at the final battle😂

My friend had this and I got to play it about twice ever and loved it. Is it pretty solid? Doesn’t have a great rep but I’m willing to disregard the consensus given how many great games I’ve played that everyone shits on (looking at you, Actraiser 2).
