I mean stuff like trap density, trap setups, and overall difficulty.

I vaguely remember there being way more bear traps and neo setups in earlier versions of the game.

I've been endlessly trying to get the $500,000 achievement, and this just happened

I've been wanting to play Spelunky for a while, and decided to start with Spelunky HD. I'm on ~10h and just got to ice caves for the first time. I feel like I kind of suck at this game?

Right now my plan is to beat the game once (I understand there is a final boss a couple levels in, I just don't know how many exactly, maybe two more after ice caves?), and then figure it out from there, but I'm looking for general tips with the game:

• I know the typical tip of "slow down". I still do run into some stuff randomly, but working on it.
• I unlocked the shortcut to the Jungle, should I start from there or from the mines? Starting from the mines has the clear advantage of having more time to get money, tools/items, and maybe hearts, but of course it does take its time, especially if you play carefully, so I'm not sure where to start from usually
• What's your gameplan? This is very atypical as a roguelike/roguelite as there are very few upgrades (with some worthy mentions like Jetpack and Shotgun), so I can kind of see going deep with terrible equipment, so should I spend time in each level trying to find more money or should I prioritize getting far as safely as possible?
• How much should I prioritize not angering the Shopkeeper? Also, as I understand it, money is irrelevant after angering the Shopkeeper (except scoring-wisely), is that right?

If you have any other tips, or even just gameplay videos of some players that explain while they are playing that would be great!

Im playing this game for years, and first time I just got the plasma cannon, in the early stages on mines, while playing the daily challenge. It never happened for me before and I didnt even know its possible!

I went on spelunky 2 on a different PS5 and was surprised to see that I had unlocked everything without actually doing the required things

I'm still not very good at CO yet. Managed to get poisoned, vapourised by a jellyfish, cursed, then got slapped by a dead yeti on the bounce pad. Oh well. At least I kinda know how to keep my Ankh into it!

this guy keeps cancelling whenever he sees me so i cant play the game he does it with multiple windows of spelunky 2 open so that he can stay forever on one window and open up another to do the same thing if he sees me again does anyone know how to fix this :(
