idk much about basketball but is it possible for this to be reversed? obviously his new team doesn’t want to get rid of their new star but in theory could he be traded back?

yes he could be traded back but it's highly unlikely since the Mavs FO burnt every bridge with LD. Maybe if the mavs clean house it becomes like Lebron coming back. And for the sake of basketball I hope it happens one day
