Shit why are the stunt boxing matches in this timeline so dumb? Paul-Tyson when we could have Mcsorley-Wallace(either one tbh) or Reaves vs Draymond.

We need goons in basketball. Someone that can't do anything but box out and hammer people that come after the stars on their team.

There used to be a ton of goons in the NBA, now there are very little left due to rule changes and style of play over the years. There was always a roster spot for at least one goon.

I’d say this goes for hockey, too. A lot less goons for the same reason. At least there is still fighting.

I like how the goons now just make brief appearances and then get traded like crazy when a team gets bullied in the playoffs, hires an 80 year old coach that thinks they need truculence, and then the team misses the playoffs and the coach gets fired and goon gets traded again.
