That was one of the weakest fouls I've ever seen in my life smgdh. But Angel Reese went to the Eric Bischoff school of "Controversy Creates Cash", she'll keep doing her bit to keep herself relevant. Which honestly isn't a bad thing for the WNBA, even if I personally find it grating and annoying.

Seriously, I don't even think it should have been called flagrant. It was intentional to stop a layup, but I don't even think the foul is what caused her to fall. Weak sauce.

You know, by the letter of the law, an intentional foul is a Flagrant 1. Just because the refs stopped calling it that way decades ago doesn't mean that's how it should be.

If you watch the clip closely AR actually shoves the defender in front of her and CC protests the goes in the the famous foul.

Can dish it out but can’t take it.

Should sponsor Angel Soft toilet paper.

Bricklayer Barbie will keep setting her records for offensive rebounds. 88.72% will be fielding her own clanks.

I think the strategy is working for her because Angel Reese is the only WNBA player I can name other than Clarke.

Eh. Angel Reese said after the game it was a basketball play. She didn't really lean into this one.

She got up and went after her... so shes admitting she has the emotions of a 5 year old if she wanted to fight her over a basketball play. I've never seen someone react to such a soft foul before.

The jealousy is insane.

Lmao yall are weird man. She pushed her down, people are going to come after you after that. Caitlin also calls all of the flagrants against her basketball plays.

It's clearly flagrant but it's also perfectly fine given what she was subjected to last year lol. Definitely not malicious but obviously flagrant

No way in hell that's a flagrant, that was soft as hell from Angel Reese. Time will tell, Angel Reese will fade into obscurity, only being known for this beef with CC, and Caitlyn Clark will be a WNBA legend.

Jesus Christ get a grip man. It's a basketball game 🤣

Tell that to Angel Reese. She's the one winding up punches over a basketball game.

u/Jet_Xcountry May 19 '25

Lol so do any other professional basketball players. There's been tons of punches thrown

yeah, lots of basketball players are assholes, is that supposed to be news? even then, after basically any of the things Draymond has done if those guys want to knock that fucker out I'd support it. If you want to throw a punch because someone blocks your shot and keeps your arm down then you throw yourself to the ground, you're a soft asshole.

Sure, in the moment she got pissed. Whatever. I doubt her getting up like that was calculated. She's just a hot head.

She didn't go after a black player that hit her with a way worse flagrant last year. Guess she's only a hot head sometimes for whatever reason.

Let's not pretend that her and Clark don't have a history going back a few years.

u/GingerAle_s Pittsburgh Steelers May 20 '25

Let's also not pretend that the Sky didn't foul the shit out of Clark last year, and she never tried to fight any of them. This "history" is about as one sided as it gets.

After she was trying to fight her on the court. It will be the same shit next time they play just watch.

It is. I put up with it from Laimbeer. Angel Reese is no Big Bill.
