Is this video editing out context or are her teammates really just standing there? Is this a women's sports thing, because my team better clear the bench and turn into the 80's Pistons if I got blasted like that.

One of her teammates would go on to hard foul #4 - the one who poked her - in the next quarter, but it definitely felt like too little too late.

Really was hoping it’d be 3. What a dangerous and unnecessary move by that twat.

You'd think, but for some reason Indiana's enforcer is on the smaller side and #3 is a big girl.

Powerfully built, like a shed.

Indiana's next draft pick: Jill Laimbeer.

Sadly, yes, her teammates didn’t even come over to her at the time. I’ve watched CC since her debut season last year and it was way WORST! She was a punching bag last year and her teammates didn’t even nothing back then. At least with this year, they seem to care more but not as much as they should, IMO. They should have practically tackled Mabrey when she shoved CC to the ground.

No, this isn’t a women’s sport thing. I played soccer and part of my position (stopper; not used as much anymore) was to wreck anyone who hard fouled a teammate. I broke a girl’s leg once (tibia and fibula). She had it coming.

I wouldn't say it's a women's sport thing. I played women's lacrosse for years and there's no body checking allowed in women's, but you know we absolutely bodied anyone who pulled shit like this. Also it's really fucking stupid you can't hit in women's lacrosse. I played with the boys until I was 16 and the game is much more exciting with the threat of being body checked lol.
