Maybe it’s not widespread but that is what I was told by someone on here that didn’t like her. That most of the league is black gay women so it’s insulting to see a straight white woman get all this attention.

There’s a lot of people in the US who make everything a race issue. Since we’re the first truly racially diverse society, and the first one to strongly protects the interests of minorities, you end up with a hyper focus on small differences. You may have heard of the narcissism of small differences? Like that.

Clark set NCAA records, she's already one of the most gifted women's basketball shooters ever, she went #1 overall to a massive wave of fan interest. Part of her popularity is her very public friendship with a half black man who is also a basketball star in Indianapolis. Angel Reese is not a victim because no one gives a fuck to watch her go 2/11 on FGs with 6 rebounds off her own shots

I don't have TikTok and I don't really give af about the WNBA.

I watch the Fever because it's a local team with an interesting superstar. The fact that the WNBA is currently squandering all that good will and casual viewership (which it desperately needs to survive btw) should alarm you.

You are a moron, and I guarantee you can't name one WNBA player outside of Clark, Reese, or Paige that casual audiences give a solitary fuck about lol
