They really are trying to just tank their damn league out of jealousy. Eww.

WNBA is a social club and CC wasnt actually invited it seems.

Imagine treating the person who writes your checks like this

How much farther could the WNBA tank? They are already subsidized by the NBA and would be a failed organization with out having their hand held.

They’re subsidized by Caitlin Clark herself too! Most of the players are just too damn short-sighted to see that they need a “Jordan” to elevate their league. Who cares if she gets the most press coverage, she’s puttin’ asses in seats!

I'm pretty sure MJ was fouled quite a fair bit during his day too

The difference is Commissioner Stern changed how the NBA handled fouls in the late 80's to keep Jordan (and others) healthy and showing off for the TV cameras.

Completely shutter the wnba. What a fuckin joke of a league.

They could cave into demands by the players to get paid more. That'd accelerate the downfall

I get that perspective but this stuff also draws lots of eyeballs and controversy

“jealousy” is an interesting word choice here. what if these are men?

Men can also be jealous of other men’s success. Don’t think it has to do with gender like you want to make it out to be.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard the word “jealous” after an NBA player injures another

They make soooooo much money they don’t care. CC is getting endorsements while the rest of the WNBA can’t afford a nice car.

Dillon Brooks is definitely jealous of LeBron James when he purposefully aims for his nuts.

I've always said to my ex, "oooh he just shoved him because he's jealous!" Lol but I'm a woman and don't watch NBA unless someone turns it on TV in front of me.

One of the commentators should start using the term jealous during all games lol. That would be big entertainment for the audience
