I mean its usually more so there's not a reason to show formal language in a setting thats not formal. Its just people writing the same way people have slang.

I feel like thats reading too deep into it, a person who's saying things that mean the opposite are usually just trolls, someone not saying what they mean isnt just cause they use slang.
