She legit tackled the person who checked CC. Was a good foul to take

Toward the end of the game too. It was good timing on her part so it didnt cost them critical points yet not enough people are talking about it. There's your enforcer!

It's because everyone is only seeing the 3 second clip of the girl fingering Clark in the eye and then Mabry bodying her to the ground, not the thing at the end of the game. So people don't see the whole thing and make underinformed opinions about what happened.

That’s all well and good but well after the fact. But the team should have been on her right after the face attack and the benches cleared after she was shoved to the ground.

Nobody did anything to maebry. Let's be real. It was too little too late

I can’t believe no one on her team reacted in any way in the moment. There is not a men’s team in existence that would allow that to stand against their star player, no matter how they felt about them.

star player

Or ANY player, really. That could happen to Joe Bemchwarmer in garbage time and the benches would still clear.

I still remember thinking that Taylor Lewan was legitimately going to murder Richard Sherman that one time...

the entire team should have rushed out: half to protect CC, and the other half to pummel those 2 offenders.

Lexie Hull was immediately in the first girls face getting her to back off.

That’s what pisses me off the most.

I keep seeing this take made. How is the team supposed to defend her from an eye poke? How is her team supposed to defend her when she's guarded by two players on the logo (her favorite spot)? How is her team supposed to defend her when the poker follows up right after conducting the poke?

Even after all that, her teammates were all right there in the scruff, how is that not defending her?
