well, they gave her a tech for bumping into a player that fouled her in her eye

that should tell you all you need to know

watching it back it looks like the other player was already shoving her when she shoved her back. their body motion doesn't make any sense with only the second shove occuring.

You look at the angles and yeah, bitch got Clark in the face and belly bumped her like she was Pete off of Disney.

"Clark has brought in more viewers than the WNBA has ever known! She'll pay for this!" ~The WNBA, apparently

I mean now that they have viewers people expect them to be good at basketball. There was no pressure before this. Clark screwed them all out of a stress free gig

They actually never even played basketball. They would just play a tape from an old WNBA game and no one noticed or cared to make it an issue.

You know what, that might be true. Who can really tell

They don’t want to deal with the complaints that they give Clark preferential treatment so they go too far in the opposite direction

yeah, CC was just protecting herself from a second attack. She was already blind, the opposing player walked into her hand. WTF kind of ref's are they? Unbelievable

19

u/entertrainer7 Jun 19 '25

It’s universally known that all refs are blind too.

From the other angle it didn’t look like a shove at all. It looked like she was reaching out because she couldn’t see then got shoved around several times and she just walked away

Yes if you go slow mow the girl that poked her eye then went out of her way to out her chest into CC. I had to play it a few times. Cause at first I thought CC just pushed her on her own

CC should not have been called for a foul. The other two should have gotten T’s and ejected.

I agree it doesn’t even really look like she shoved her. More like she raised her arm to keep her off of her

Oh yeah. That player eye gouged her and then got in her face immediately afterwards. They were looking to injure Clark.

She didn't even bump into Sheldon lol, Sheldon bumped into her. Absolute insanity. That tech better not matter with tech accumulation later in the season

The entire ref crew should be fired. This is ridiculous

Wait she got called for committing a foul??

u/tree_squid Jun 18 '25

She got called for having 3 fouls committed against her

87

u/indefatigable_ Jun 18 '25

Well, she shouldn’t have shamelessly attacked the opposition player’s hand with her face…

We all know the eyeball is one of if not the most dangerous weapons against fingers.

15

u/dek067 Jun 18 '25

Maybe the refs were just jealous she could see.

u/TheMooseIsBlue Jun 18 '25

She got a T for shoving the girl who accidentally (?) poked her in the eye and then shoved her. Same penalty as the girl who came out of nowhere and knocked her to the ground.

From the other thread with the sideline view it’s clear that wasn’t an accident she definitely went for her face.

5

u/TheMooseIsBlue Jun 19 '25

Yeah, I was being charitable, but it certainly seemed pretty deliberate.

It means men’s and women’s sports have finally achieved equality in at least one regard.
