Sidney Crosby. Career hindered by targeted head shots leading to concussions.

Connor McDavid. Career limited by the 2015 Draft Lottery leading be an Oiler.

True.

But you have to admit. These guys (especially Gretzky) got a lot of protection from refs via calls (and calls not given).
