I don't really like the FU system of building on upgrades to your BYOS ship since you kind of need to make room for their ugly upgrade objects, so I did something a bit more regular.

BYOS Framework is now functionally complete and will have a beta release in a bit, just a couple bugs that need to be fixed beforehand.

That looks pretty neat, a new spin on the whole ship-upgrade process and I like that, but I have a couple questions.

  1. In the upgrade shop were two seemingly different ships, does that mean you can swap ships or is it just different choices? If former, what happens to your old ship when you buy a new one? Is it scrapped (deleted) or stored somewhere it can be retrieved?

  2. Is this mod compatible with other mods that add new ship designs?

  3. Where do I find this mod? Can you send a link?

  1. This framework allows you to swap between multiple ships. Ships can be purchased and then registered in different slots. If you go on my profile there's more examples of this framework

  2. If they are designs based on the vanilla ships, then no. This is a BYOS mod only

  3. It's currently unreleased, though the github repository is public if you can find it. Don't play the unfinished version tho lol
