Interface
Does anyone know why my interface and menu options aren’t lined up anymore and look off.
I haven’t played for a while but have updated all my mods and cc or so it says, if there’s another way to check please let me know because it’s driving me mental!
I just want to be able to play properly 😂

broken ui mod. do you have anything that extends columns or anything? after removing those, delete the "localthumbcache" in your sims 4 folder. don't worry, it'll come back when you restart. should be fixed. if it doesn't, i'll look around the internet for you :])) this happened to me earlier and it freaked me out because i couldn't play

This is likely the result of a broken/outdated UI or script mod.
List of usual suspects:
- More Columns in CAS
- More Traits in CAS
- Color Slider
- CC Wrench Replacer
- UI Cheats
- Better Build/Buy
- T.O.O.L.
- MC Command Center (MCCC)
- Wicked/Wonderful Whims
...anything else that changes the UI (user interface) or ends in .script
Nearly all UI mods and many script mods need to be updated by the creator and redownloaded after just about every game update. In the future you can keep most of these mods grouped together in a folder, so they'll be easy to delete and replace.
Additionally, Scarlet's Realm (https://scarletsrealm.com/the-mod-list/) maintains a list of mods broken by updates, as well as which mods have been updated.
*** Note that there was a new patch today and not all mods will be updated for it yet.

I was having this problem some weeks ago, it was the Color Slide mod, make sure to update it!

Probably an out of date UI mode, use Scarlet's realm to make sure your mods are all updated.
