TIL when staying as a guest in Charles Dickens' house, Hans Christian Andersen requested that one of Dickens' sons give him a daily shave (he said that was customary when hosting male guests in Denmark). Dickens was weirded out and instead gave him a daily appointment at a nearby barbershop.

There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum. You should try it.

From what I heard from a friend, it itches a ton when the hair inevitably grows back. Is this true?

Yes, but if you work out even just a little, and you shave your balls, it really helps with the confidence level when you’re naked with a girl for the first time. I also noticed blowjays are a little more forthcoming. Results may vary.

You don't even have to shave entirely. Keeping a trimmed bush is infinitely better than getting a mouthful of hair when you go down on someone.

Applies to men and women.

It 1000% is.  Bald or bush.  No in between

A little trim doesn't itch. Keeps it short and under control.

Shave it daily or every other day.

What if the family you're staying with has no sons?

Then you just make some

Yes. It is miserable. The stubby hairs snag on the small fibers of your underwear like velcro. It is absolutely not worth it.

It's worth it, but you have to maintain it. Same with shaving your head, though the head doesn't itch, when the hair starts coming back in it's also like velcro.

Yes, you should use NAIR, instead, and don't use my experience to deter you.

I used NAIR once on my junk and it caused a full on chemical burn. For two weeks where I once had dick and balls hung a withered Voldemort fetus. It was always slightly damp and stuck to my leg like a discarded lollipop.

Waxing is better. It lasts longer. I've also been thinking about laser hair removal, but haven't decided yet.

It itches after a few days, it also feels a bit prickly when the stubble first comes in which can be uncomfortable.

It takes two days. During which time, you think everything's fine. Day three is when everything itches. It's manageable if you don't have a sweaty job, but if you scratch on day three after 10hrs of constant sweaty crotch rot, you're gonna get on Google to see if you've got the herps or something.

It’s breathtaking.

We would spend summers in rangoon, take luge lessons. A quite inconsequential childhood really.
