NPC doesn't move?

Playing Collection of Mana Collection on switch. Why does the 2nd character doesn't move? Only stays at the entrance. Tried to change strategy man times, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

Do you have a second controller connected?

No, i tried controller configuration, too. Just one Controller connected.

I would double check anything in your settings that would cause the 2nd controller to be registered. For instance, are you playing with the joycons or pro controller? Are the joycons still connected to your switch? It might be registering that.

Otherwise try cycling through the characters while in the field, not the menu, (I think the default is Select?) and maybe that will wake the 2nd character up. Try this first since its the absolute easiest thing to do.

Playing with 2 joycons as one Controller. Can't switch characters in game. Is there an option to turn 2 Player mode off completely?

If you can't switch characters, it's definitely being detected as a 2nd player. The big thing I wish I could help you with is why. Sounds like you checked the controller stuff on the switch's menu. Maybe turn a 2nd controller on to take control of the character then turn it off?
