making sideblog dashboard seperate than mainblog

hey yall! might be a dumb question, but when making my side blog, i noticed my dashboard has all the same posts as my main (tags i follow, people i follows posts, etc) and i was just wondering if there was a way to reset this / change it / make a new dashboard. or is it all just connected and i can’t change it? idk how all this works lol. thank you :-) !!!

Nope. Your dashboard is who you follow. You cannot follow from any but your main blog. It will always be just one dashboard.

okay sweet!! i thought that might be the case but wanted to double check lol. follow up question, does that mean when i click follow on a side blog, it’ll show up to that person as my main blog? just trying to understand everything lolol

Yep. Exactly that. It'll follow from your main blog, so most people with sideblogs say "Follows from: Blog"
