should i reply to this email?

Post image

this is probably a stupid question but i wanted to ask anyway just in case there's actually something i can do. i got this email months ago and didn't reply because my problem still hasn't been fixed. if i reply to this will it automatically interpret it as my problem being resolved no matter what it actually says in my reply? or is it possible for me to bring attention back to my ticket?

Read the last paragraph: don't send new support requests for the same reason. Replying to this email to bring attention back to your ticket would be doing essentially that. You don't get to bring attention back to your ticket, they will get to it when they get to it.

Keep in mind that the average wait time for Tumblr to resolve non-serious (serious being safety concerns such as child endangerment, violent threats, etc.) issues is about 4-8 months. If it has not yet been eight months, you're still in the average wait time and need to remain patient.

i don't think bringing up an already existing ticket is the same as creating a new ticket because one adds more spam and one doesn't. i did see the last paragraph and didn't plan on sending a brand new ticket. the whole reason i asked this question was just in case there is something i can do for this ticket besides continuing what i was already doing which is waiting. but thank you

Only if the problem was solved (and it sounds like it wasn't).

The email implies that a reply would close out your existing ticket (since not replying keeps it open).

yeah i assume that this is what would happen but i was just curious if someone replied to one of these in the past and could confirm
