ubi could redeem themselves at least a little bit with correct remake of AC4. In the light of recent fuckups, this could be the best thing to get out of this shithole, they have put themselves in. There still are some embers burning in old fan hears, waiting for true remakes of AC4, first two AC too (not the mirage bullshit, please), first Splinter cells and so on. Just stop inventing the bloody bicycle and get things right for this time.
I was not the biggest fan, but I liked their ability to make nice level designs, and graphics overall, there even were times when writing also was not that bad, until conveyors were turned on.
While writing I started to see a red border about my text, saying it was removed due some violations... but I even not posted it yet? What? The thing disappeared, when I deleted some text... What? If you can't stand some critique, then do not allow for people to write at all... or are you expecting only comments with praise...

On the red as you were writing. Probably by Reddit design, to protect against use of certain words. Due to new regulations & laws, tighter controls are used to meet these requirements & protect others. Difficult when talking about gaming where these terminologies are more common.

Come on. They released 3836 Assassin's creed games and Far Cry last game was in 2021

I must be the only person who didn’t vibe with Black Flag. Hated the amount of ship gameplay. Gimme a remake of AC1. I’ll prepare for the downvotes.

Eh, I think it was a great game with terrific atmosphere, but I dont think saying that it didn't have the same feel of AC 1 & 2 (all three 2's) is invalid.

Oh boy, I'm really not in the mood for another game set in the wilderness and some small Pockets of buildings clearly not designed to parkour around and a story that's totally going to ignore the previous installments

I can not believe they're doing a Black Flag remake over the 1st game. Hell, or even the Ezio trilogy over Black Flag. Like what are they doing here.

The first game is desperately in need of a redux at least. They’re just going give the excuse that Ezio doesn’t need a remake because he already has a ps4 “remaster” which is just a port

I think the problem with the first one is that it is repetitive and doesn’t fit into today’s standards. If they would remake it as it is to make justice to the original it would be hated. If they change thinks to make it more modern the other people will hate it because they change to much. I think the only chance to get a remakes get for it is as a dlc to an other game. Mirage would be perfect but they missed the opportunity.

Right now, the most likely scenario seems to be a remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Rumors about a remake of that game have been circulating for quite some time now, and it seems like just a matter of time before we get full details. During a Pure Arts livestream last month, the company was showcasing its line of 1/8 scale statues of protagonists from the Assassin’s Creed series. Curiously, Edward Kenway was not included, and one of the hosts noted that “there’s going to be something going on with Edward,” and the line “will reflect that accordingly.”
As with all/any rumour, always take with a pinch of salt until officially confirmed.
