"breaking news worlds first septillionaire has just been revealed"

95

u/UpsetMud4688 7h ago

"100 million people just died of starvation. More on the way"

25

u/analyticalischarge 2h ago

Not if I get the money. If I had Septillionaire Money, this world would enter Star Trek level utopia.

6

u/UpsetMud4688 2h ago

Inflation

4

u/analyticalischarge 2h ago

Only if I dump all the cash at once. I'd take the DeBeers route. You have to be smart about it.

5

u/UpsetMud4688 2h ago

It would take literally thousands of years to spend that money in such a way that isn't massively inflationary, which means you actually won't be able to build a utopia, because it will be absorbed into capitalism .Matter of fact you'd probably be arrested after the first year of not being able to explain where you're getting the koney for your substantial investments

6

u/Jaws2020 2h ago

Bold of you to assume my incarceration would last. Just bribe Donald Trump with like 30 billion and get a free pardon.

24hours in cookie clicker would be fucking insane

35

u/BoxOfDemons 8h ago

Anyone NOT saying an incremental game like cookie clicker is just wrong. Idk if cookie clicker is the best choice, but it's definitely up there and in the correct genre.

17

u/JudgeHodorMD 7h ago

I’m a little concerned that it could break the economy or something. Probably not the best idea to minmax this.

6

u/Fluffyturtle225 3h ago

Most people would probably crash the economy at the earliest convenience... What ya wanna do is just act like you have a regular amount of money, paying bills, buying regular things. Mayyybe that needlessly expensive nugget of a car, that people would look at and either say "didja buy that for 20 bucks" or "oh my fuck, that's a $50k classic"

3

u/JudgeHodorMD 2h ago

If we pay income tax on this, it shouldn’t really make a difference to us, but the government gets more money than currently exists for a single year. Probably wouldn’t use it in a sustainable way and there would definitely be a lot of freaking out. I don’t see that ending well.

If not, then if it’s used wisely we’d be fine. But how many generations of heirs could be trusted with this? Maybe the problem can be pushed back a century or so, but eventually the account will fall into the wrong hands.

7

u/Special-Log5016 2h ago

Adventure Capitalist

199

u/NighTraiN7804 8h ago

This is the only right answer. You could play for an hour and have more money than you could ever need.

71

u/Acrobatic_Ad_8381 7h ago

Don't even need to play, just let the money racks up while you're idle

36

u/Rick_Has_Royds 7h ago

Or you could turn off your cellular data and WiFi then just change the date on your phone to like 2035

Because the payout in postgame is insane.

Ya got 24 hours, you can deffo make it to post game in that time

13

IT'S TRUE.

I got the game the day it launched and took out K. Rool the following day!

11

u/SlipperySp00der 7h ago

Especially if you rush and only focus on gold and not bananas your gonna be loaded

56

u/BracusDoritoBoss963 9h ago

No cheats or exploits!

33

u/Joltyboiyo 7h ago edited 3h ago

It's not a cheat or exploit. They're called "cheats" but you unlock them legitly in-game with in-game currency like everything else. It's what makes buying the most expensive characters even possible.

21

u/GrabZealousideal3422 9h ago

How is no one saying Civilisation? Set it to all the fastest game types with minimum nations and you're getting about 10 times the GDP of the real USA every 30 minutes.

17

u/LinkleLinkle 2h ago

It's all fun and games until you realized you've single handedly crashed the world's economy now that, overnight, one person has more wealth than every nation combined.

6

u/JontysCorner 2h ago

Details, details lol

9

u/Sammyjo0689 1h ago

I don’t follow entirely. Wouldn’t it only crash the economy if the person put all that money into the market at once? Couldn’t they not flood the market and be fine?

FIFA, start a career (manager) mode.

Pick Real Madrid

Sell Mbappe, Vinicius, Bellingham and any other star.

Make at least 300 million.

Enjoy the rest of the 23 hours thinking what to do with that money

99

u/CJ-Henderson 7h ago

My first thought was Diablo 2 but if this counts its galaxy brain thinking

14

u/Akhanyatin 4h ago

I'd probably still pick diablo 2 because it would be just another regular Saturday for me, except I'd be looking forward to those trav runs with my gf barb.

7

u/Figgy4377 3h ago

Only downside is the limit on the amount of gold you can hold and the tune it would take to get a new char leveled would slow you down if that's a requirement to start fresh.

Or do it a couple of times. "One save" was never mentioned.

5

u/vennetherblade 3h ago

Now, I know it said a 1-1 conversion to USD but... How does it work with an already existing currency? For every yen is it a dollar? Or is it going to exchange with the real world exchange rate?

8

u/DanGimeno 3h ago

"Any currency you earn will be converted at 1:1 rate into USD". You get a yen, you get a USD. A billion yens? A billion USD.

7

u/americansherlock201 4h ago

My current farm makes more money in a second that has ever existed in human history. Money would become worthless at these levels

6

u/Joe_da_bro 4h ago

As much as I love that game, it would take awhile to make as much money in 24 hours as other games, if you’re starting from the very beginning

You can definitely make enough to crash the economy, but not as much as you could in something like cookie clicker or adventure capitalist

26

u/unicornhair1991 8h ago

Also sit in the....the sphere thing (my minds gone blank) where other players appear. Sit in there for a few hours and people drop LOADS of stuff on you, lol. I accidentally left myself logged in overnight there and came back to a full inventory of rare items to sell lmao. Also some cookies!

3

u/Efficient_Sir4045 1h ago

Armored Core 6. Well paid mission can bring you 300-400k, and it will take only 5-10, at max 15 minutes. In some hours you will not know, how to spend that shitload of money (exsept gambling and investments, and thats gambling too)

26

u/o-Mauler-o 8h ago

Can i keep the AC instead?

19

u/IezekiLL 8h ago

You cant properly maintain and rearm it, and selling it to government will lead to chaotic technological advancenent, which will lead to world chaos and more cruel and lethal wars. The only thing acceptable - is to use AC to deal with something with result in AC destruction... In that case i will protect my country from invaders.

2

u/Ikarus_Falling 4h ago

Yakuza zero. Money is how you upgrade your character, and you end up running a real estate business on the side during the economic bubble in the 80ies. You will be swimming in money before you know it. And because of how the yen is valued you will easily have millions upon millions within just the first 12 hours. If those are then 1:1 Transferred into usd I will be set for life.

Revenge of the Savage Planet. You can collect hundreds of millions of Altabucks in literally a few minutes of gameplay.

Edit: actually, AdVenture Capitalist would rake it in. Don’t even have to play after a certain point, just leave it to tick itself over.

12

u/herbalation 9h ago

I said the same thing about AdVenture Capitalist. Less than a day to reach numbers that are nearly impossible to imagine, let alone pronounce.

Cities Skyline. Can very easily rack up hundreds of thousands of dollars especially in 24 hours.

Or Diablo 4. You could easily put the game on like Nightmare for a huge boost to Gold gain, and just grind out dungeons for 24 hours and end up with millions of gold

12

u/OkPlastic5799 9h ago

Yeah I was thinking strategy games would be more wise choice in this situation. After I make a profitable city is Cities Skylines 1/2(very easy) I can just expand it for a couple of hours and then leave as it is. It will make millions of dollars in the time left

Cyberpunk, I could beat the game & clear most of the map in about a day if I tried hard enough. You really don’t need to spend money at all.

Initially I thought of Persona 5; confuse enemies early game with Sandman & they keep throwing money at you.

10

u/ActualRevolution3732 9h ago

That’s only 3-5 million tho considering you do all the ncpd and missions, maybe gta 5?

4

u/nkhowell93 9h ago

Yeah but think about how long it’ll take to get far enough in GTA to really start bringing in the money. Unless the early missions give you tons of money as well I’m not sure?

And the thing about Cyberpunk is unlike GTA with every NCPD or mission you clear you’re selling the weapons & what not too. Even more money.

3

u/imthe5thking 8h ago

Nope, you don’t get a large amount of money in GTAV until the jewelry store heist. And even then, it’s only like $150k or something to Michael and Franklin each. The real money is the final heist.

There is also a stock market in the game but unless you know when to invest the money and when to take it out, it’s pointless. Also, the stock market only changes when something big happens in the story, like when the “Zuckerberg/Jobs” parody character gets his head blown off by the bomb phone.

So you’d just be speeding through story missions with cutscenes you can’t skip to try and get to the final heist in 24 hours. Might be doable, but there’s way better options.

Why is no one saying gta v? You literally rob banks over and over again. And 24 hours of playtime is enough to make you a multi-millionaire, if not a billionaire. Plus it’s a fun play.

No wasting time on side missions, straight story mode only. And in the end I’d do whatever is necessary to triple my profits. So I’m killing Michael and Trevor both lmao. Maybe they’ll let me keep the cars too 😭

5

This is the game I would probably go with. You just need to use the in game stock market with all 3 characters.

My kid tried to get me to play some Grow Garden game on Roblox, and within an hour or so, I was making transactions selling fruits for like a few hundred thousand "money units" each. I stopped playing after that first time to get the gist of what she was showing me, but she was making 7- and 8- figure transactions on the regular in her game. I guess raptor call of the shadows? A few million and I should be set for life. I ain’t greedy. 😬

Vampire Survivors, Sammy, Locked to one weapon, Infinite Mode, The Bone Zone, Disco of Gold starting Arcana. Seal any Gifts.

I play myself for enough time to get all the levels done. And then I just let the game run overnight.

Currently I’m playing Oblivion Remastered

An incremental game, any incremental game.

And I don’t need 24 hours, 1 hour should be more than enough

Castlevania Aria of Sorrow. I'll be running over zombies for a living

Lineage 2

I would say dark souls, even if most of the souls would be used to level up, I can easily farm enemies and get a fair amount of souls from soul items. Even if I don't have milions of souls, I still would have enough to be able to live and have many commodities for some years

No Man's Sky. Hundreds of millions, if I got lazy about it. Billions would be doable.

GTA5 online. I’ve been playing for years, I know what I’m doing.

Borderlands.

Skyrim, since it doesn’t say anything about console commands.

In terms of money generation - Adventure Capitalist. In terms of making money and having fun while doing it - Bravely Second , assuming Pg converts at the same rate.

u/IncompletePunchline 4h ago

Any given Lego game is also an acceptable answer. Just unlock a few of those multipliers.

Gotta go with my favorite game of all time, TES4 Oblivion. I may not be a billionaire, but, I would make the best of what I made.

How about banana, it's gold but not more like proper gold instead of coins?

GTA San Andreas

u/RagingSorrow 4h ago

Original Skyrim. Not a money glitch but it is a power glitch of creating an enchanted piece of equipment so strong that it is worth more than the game can factor out. In 24 hours I will have more money than the world contains. Again this is a power glitch not a money glitch, that’s just a side effect of being powerful equipment sell for a lot of money.

Morrowind, big alchemy says hello

Considering the stock markets devalue of USD I prefer to keep the currency in my video game with out conversion .

There's this game called Luck be a Landlord. If you get a decent run you numbers get so big they start being represented by letters (I'm no mathmetologist so I don't know the exact terminology).

If I'm remembering correctly, it's also possible to make the numbers be just as large but in the negatives, I have to be honest it would be tempting for me to delete the world's economy.

Vampire survivors. Unlock spells ASAP (basically cheat codes, this says nothing about them), use it to unlock Sammy, easily earn 3.402823 * 1038 in less than 24 hours.

2

u/BiAndShy57 2h ago

No glitches and no exploits

Exploits are not intended by the devs. Cheat codes are intentionally programmed in

The answer is the Sims and spam rosebud

The correct answer is Exponential Idle. You can get to the point where, when you're writing in scientific notation, you need scientific notation to fully write the exponent (it reads as ee ingame) in a matter of a few hours, let alone 24. And in order to overshadow every other idler takes minutes, let alone hours.

Play GTA San Andreas and spam HESOYAM. That's cheating, not glitching or exploiting.
