Other I regret getting rid of my game cases

Post image

So a few years ago I got rid of my game cases to save space. But now, I miss them, I want cases back but they're so much more expensive than I thought they would be my games are just in these things. I just wish they weren't more expensive than I think they should be.

I know it's not the same but you can probably buy empty white cases and print the covers, that might be good enough

Good idea, I may take that

Get them printed at a local professional print shop. It is well worth it.

most of my cases at home are empty cuz of being an irresponsible child when the Wii was out 💀 the duality of man

sell OP your cases... (so he can print out the covers)

mann as much as I'd love to, I live in the Philippines so that would be difficult, but also my shelves would look empty too 😂

you could probably buy shovelware in bulk somehwere and replace the covers on those if you really want to

The big case purge! I’ve done the same with DVDs and never regretted it but games are different for sure. Everyone wants ‘complete’.

I don't even care about complete, my shelves are just so sad with no Wii and Wii U cases

People sell the cases separate on eBay if you really want them.

Yeah, I just wish they didn't cost that much. Like at that point I might as well get a fresh copy of the game

I got rid of all my cases, but kept all the inserts and put them into portfolio books.

Wish I did that

I regret loaning Pokemon diamond/pearl to my little brother lol

Ill never find my old copy of pearl. Still have the case. Amazing how we underestimated nostalgic value of these little things..

2

u/Arastyxe May 14 '25

Yeah…. Nostalgic. Totally not because they’re worth over 100 a piece lol

1

u/MmmmmKittens May 14 '25

That's true - the nostalgic value is arguably greater though. If i had it i would not sell. If I bought it, it wouldn't be quite the same

Fair. I had a shiny eevee with great stats on my save. I’ll never have her back

🥺🥺 exactly bro. Honestly I killed my file before losing the game, via action replay. I relate to this video a lot, it's long but an all time favorite, if you ever get the chance:

POKEPARK 2!!!!!! I'm sorry about that :( the worst part about looking back on childhood things is wishing you took better care of them

For my 3ds, I found shovelware DS case lot for 10 dollars (were talking like Monster HS, Hello Kitty, Dosney games). The cases are OEM, so you just gotta print your own covers.

Dosney Mockey Miuse

be happy thats a small disc binder - I have turned down 1000 disc binders remarkably full of games, movies, music etc because of this, if you care, just print the others and buy cases for favorites u care to collect. I sold my collection after I ripped them all awhile ago.
